Kaleidoscope Massage Therapy and Bodywork is a small individually owned therapeutic massage practice based in Rollinsford, NH, specializing in chronic pain management and injury recovery.  I approach muscular wellness from a wholistic approach keeping in mind past trauma and current physical posturing habits.

My story begins many, many years ago when I was searching out care for one of my children who was suffering from leg pain at a very young age.  The pediatrician diagnosed the issue as something that only occurred in the elderly and stated that condition would require limiting his activity including possible surgeries to follow. This was said to be a lifelong issue.  Unable to settle for this diagnosis, I sought help in the community of physical therapists and one in particular was willing to train me on massage techniques that I was able to use daily on my child while he was healing and as he continued to grow.  No invasive surgeries were necessary for "normal childhood activity" and he went on to play school and travel sports.

As a result of this impowering experience, I realized that I too struggled with finding the wellness care that I deeply needed.  I, a person who had experienced trauma in my life, was in need of a healing touch and care that would approach wellness in a wholistic manner.  As I was able to receive care, it seemed to miss the mark a bit for me.  I felt drawn to learn more and become a licensed massage therapist myself so I could "fill the gap" between the strictly medical approach and the strictly emotional/energetic approach.  

I received my education at the Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy and graduated excited to help people be the best version of themselves that they could become. I began by working closely with a psychotherapy practice that specialized in helping abuse survivors and was honored to assist many of these individuals learn to accept safe touch and to deepen their healing from the physical trauma that they had endured.  I have been able to incorporate the physiological with the emotional and energetic.  I customize each session to suit the individual goals of the session and the long term goals of wellness.

Over the past two decades I have learned that, just as the butterfly needs to struggle out of the chrysalis to strengthen its wings to enable it to fly, so did I need to go through the process of strengthening and growth personally and professionally to get to this point in my career.

I am honored to be the recipient of the 2022 "Best in Seacoast" award as the Best Massage Therapist.   

My business has "lived" in a few different locations and I now can spread my wings wide and am free to fly on my own as Kaleidoscope Massage Therapy and Bodywork.  I strive to help others grow and spread their wings and together our community will be a kaleidoscope of butterflies.
